I want to share a very simple and budget idea of decorating surfaces with stencils. There's no need to buy expensive pasta, coating for wood will perfectly cope with it.
You need:
A stencil with a sticky backside is applied well to the surface. The coating is applied with a spatula or palette knife, then the stencil is carefully removed. It should be washed immediately after work and stuck again to the film — it is designed for repeated use.
Rub the protruding part of the surface with a paraffin candle before ageing. Paint the shelf, let it dry thoroughly.
And then slightly sand the protruding decor.
This reveals the texture.
Thank you for your attention!
