Because of seductive thematic week devoted to juicy strawberries, I decided to offer my own version of making a pretty and extremely stylish brooch in the form of a strawberry.
polymer clay of several shades (white, golden, red, green);
vinyl cutters;
Swarovski crystal (you can do without it);
varnish;
plunger;
pasta machine;
blade;
super glue;
pin.
To start with, I connected red, green and white canes to roll them to get colour transition.
On the resulting layer, I pressed on texture. Taking another layer of polymer clay, using cutter, cut out a strawberry shape. This cutter is really designed to work with foamiran and to create petals:) But who cares if this petal looks like a strawberry:)
Taking green clay, using cutter and the same working (as I call it) layer, make a leaf.
With this cutter made a crop on the strawberry, where to put the leaf. Prepare a golden-white cane for rolling to get a layer with colour transition.
From the resulting layer with the help of another cutter, cut petals. They also cut off the edge of strawberries, where one petal will go.
Place petals. I made the middle with Swarovski crystal (in fact, you can do without it).
Then I thought that my strawberry is young and not quite ripe :) Perhaps, we should make a ripe and clearly juicy strawberry.
Repeating all the previous steps, I place the strawberries on a working layer of polymer clay and carefully cut out along the edge. Juicy strawberry has two leaves instead of one. But the principle is the same.
After that, sent them to bake for the first time. After baking, I glued pin and covered it with polymer clay.
Send to bake for the second time. After cooling, I sanded and varnished carefully. What happened in the end? It turned out charming, fashionable and moderately glamorous. Neat and light.
