Here I'm telling about one of my projects — decorating a table with stained glass paints.
When you're over with the first colour, take another:
Stained glass paints look really bright and intensive!
The closer to the edge, the lighter the paints:
- glass surface to be painted; I bought this table at IKEA
- acrylic contour, bronze or brass
- organic stained glass paints
- cotton swabs
- dry wipes
- alcohol for degreasing
- your sketch, or use mine
- sticky tape
Protect the work surface from damages and paint. Then fasten the pattern under the glass with a double sided tape.
Transfer the pattern with the contour:
Another side:
That's done. Let the contour dry well.
Put a sheet of white paper under the glass. Start painting with the center.
To spread paint over glass, I use a wooden stick.
I recommend to always start with one colour.
