Necklace - totem. Since ancient times, a cat has been endowed with various mystical properties - it sees the invisible, hears the inaudible, knows how to anticipate trouble, has nine lives and always lands on all four paws.
In ancient Egypt, the cat was a sacred animal and the totem of the goddess Bastet. Amulets with her image were worn by many Egyptians. It was considered that they are able to protect the wearer from all adversity and disfavor of the gods.
The cat is considered the keeper of the hearth and the assistant of priests and magicians.
The Blue Cat necklace is made in a mixed technique with elements of macrame and beaded embroidery. Natural materials are used in the work: wooden beads, waxed cotton cord, leather, natural stones (howlite, tinted turquoise).
