Charming decoration fully hand woven and forged wire wrap style in reddish copper and Golden bronze.
Photo, unfortunately, could not convey the whole game of metal color...the necklace is shimmering with reddish-gold metal drops and inserts of light green Tagua nut (this nut is also called "plant bone" and is used to replace ivory. In Europe and America, this amazingly beautiful material has gained immense popularity. Tagua, is a palm native to the tropical forests of Ecuador, Panama, Colombia. A fruiting palm tree with large nuts, the weight of which starts from 10 pounds! Every seed of this nut has a unique pattern. Initially, seeds are filled with liquid with tartaric acid, which, incidentally, are usable. Nuts are selected and dried in the sun for several months. With this process they reach a hardness, whereby it becomes possible to further processing: sawing, milling, drilling, polishing. Seeds are given the desired shape, if necessary, painted. unusual and textured material.
The color of the walnut in the necklace is very unusual...natural light green....with iridescence of brown... The bow of the necklace is also made filigree and braided with bronze threads with inserts of green Czech glass beads. Gorgeous openwork clasp.
This ornament reminded me of a mysterious forest fern on the night of Ivan Kupala and I decided to call it that)))
Attached to the necklace are elegant earrings made in a similar design and with the same exact inserts (but I'll post them in a separate post-be patient). Earrings and necklaces are sold separately. But together they look just gorgeous!
