In anticipation of the upcoming holiday, I want to share with you a DIY on making brooms.
I usually use them for decoration.
Basically we need twigs: thin twigs (I have birch twigs) and larger twigs for the handle.
The handle is about 12 cm long.
Break the twigs into equal parts...
...and begin to assemble.
I put them together with a glue gun. Otherwise, everything begins to crumble.
The number of twigs is of your choice.
When I get the desired volume I cut off a few cm of twine (rope).
Wind it on a few times (the rope covers the traces of the glue and holds the twigs tightly).
The last step is to make a broom look older.
I paint the handle and the twine.
To the right is the broom before painting and to the left — after the painting.
That's all.
