- Category: Ideas & Inspiration
- Practices: Photography, Photo & Video
For me, January is not only a time to make plans for the future but also an opportunity to look back and take stock of the past year. First of all, it concerns artists, designers, photographers. I want to share with you the results of the Travel Photographer of the Year contest annually carried out with the support of National Geographic.
In 2017, the jury took more than 15,000 works by photographers from 30 countries into consideration and the winners were chosen in three categories — Nature, Cities and People. The opinion of ordinary people was taken into account within the category People's Choice. In addition to remuneration, the winner got an opportunity to go on an expedition to the Galapagos Islands.
Let's admire these amazing shots from around the world. Pleasant viewing!
