A large part of my avtivities in workshop is connected with the stylization of the animals. This is an interesting and multifaceted thing to do. So I got interested in works by Judy Kensli McKee who adorns interiors with animalistic furniture. She is a furniture designer from Boston, Massachusetts, produces beautiful sculptural but functional furniture. Judy is one of the most expressive contemporary furniture artists, her work is highly valued. Her first furniture was very simple — handmade tables to shade space in apartments. One day, she impulsively cut a couple of fine animals on the armrests of a couch. Since then, inspired, she cut leopards, lizards, turtles, panthers, horses and snakes in the form of tables, couches, chests and chairs, elegant, full of beauty.
