Ultramarine is one of the most popular colours in the world. People love it for juicy, bright, deep, clear shades.
It is associated with winter, cold, long blue shadows on the snow and in the summer, deep blue southern sky, the sea, the atmosphere of the southern countries. It is found in the shades of flame, glow in the lake, flower petals. Though, it is rarely found in the interior, it evokes calm, peace, a sense of long awaited cool in the midday heat. But I would recommend to use ultramarine only as an accent.
In clothing, ultramarine attracts attention much more than casual grey or brown tones. It blends well with native colors — cyan and blue shades. It looks great with white, black, beige, milk, brown and various rusty shades, turquoise, grey, Burgundy and various shades of green and yellow.
I offer your to see some shots conveying this rich, noble colour.
