Like many women, British artist Corinne Sleight loves embroidering. Corinne belongs to those mothers who work at home. For more than 20 years, she has been helping her husband to manage a small graphics business in a Sussex South Downs village, England.
Despite the lack of formal qualifications in the arts, Corinne loves working in different techniques. She tried knitting, tapestries, stained glass, painting and recently discovered the amazing world of embroidery, which, apparently, has truly captivated her. Looking at her masterpieces, I can't believe that she started embroidering professionally just a few years ago. This embroidery is distinguished with intricate patterns, bold and harmonious combination of colours. It is obvious that the love for the work is the best helper in broading the horizon.
I wish you all inspiration and courage for creative experiments!
