The stripe has long been a fashionable trend. It can rightly be called one of the oldest textile patterns which appeared almost at the same time as a man has learned how to make fabric for clothing. In a way, the pattern can be called classic.
In addition to familiar titles such as "wide stripe" or "narrow stripe", there are also poetic terms, all of them are characterictic. Let's learn them:
1. Tennis stripe
These stripes are thin and placed at a great distance from each other. They were originally white and adorned the costumes of bankers.
2. Lollipop stripe
Also known as "sticks", these stripes are thin, placed at the same distance from each other and white alternates with another colour just like lollipops!
3. "Marquise" stripe
Wide white stripes alternate with less wide colored stripes. Don't forget sunglasses!
4. Roman stripe
Stripes of one width alternate white and a bright color. The effect of Dolce Vita is guaranteed!
5. "Bar code" stripe
Usually asymmetrical stripes of various widths are located in the middle and repeated like a bar code.
6. Bayadere stripe
A symbol of the PAUL SMITH brand called "Bayadere" is frequent bright stripes of saturated colors.
