Tutorial on How to Draw a Nice Pastel Doggie
- Difficulty: Very easy
-
Materials: dry pastel
It took me too long to take the decision and I have finally posted my tutorial :)
I used dry pastel set of 12 colors, Nevskaya Palitra. The DIY was prepared for children of 6 years and older, so simple and uncomplicated. Initially I used light crayons, and dark brown and black at the end. I wish you all good luck!
The muzzle is sketched with white chalk on a paper, a little to the right, as the dog is sitting half-side and needs space for its legs and tail.
Draw the ears bigger, don't forget to apply strokes in the direction of the nap growth.
Add orange, it will give wool reddish hue and warm shade.
Draw the eyes, nose.
Add a small white highlight in the eyes to make it alive. A little shade under the dog :)
Darken the ear and neck near the muzzle.
So, such a good dog turned out. Don't forget to fix it with hairspray, spray from a distance!
Sincerely yours,
