AlinaYo is a milliner, hat and accessories designer born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. My creative success started with hand making of the theatrical costumes, outfits that could turn a person into a mysterious fairy creature. Also being good with the needle and vision, I put most of attention in creating complex and volumetric constructions, imitating the could-be natural unordinary hair styles, head shapes, horns, dreadlocks, tubes, tentacles and vegetation long before Avatar and Maleficent.
After a period of collaboration with performers and actors on various festivals and social events, I am on designing hats and hair accessories, brooches, pins and hairgrips and the wedding jewerly.
And now I derives inspiration from the 20-s, the Modernist Art Nouveau movement of the 20-s.
In fashion terms, the hats are known to be a very noticeable accessory, because the onlooker’s attention is first drawn to the face.
