One or two piece swimsuits have gained an incredible popularity during just a century of existence. It’s hard to believe, but in 1907 an Australian woman was arrested on a Boston beach because she was wearing a sleeveless one piece swimsuit that covered her body from neck to toe. Though, in less than 10 years, this piece of clothing became a compulsory item for any lady spending time near a seashore. But an official recognition came in 1912 with the first Olympic Games when a comfortable outfit for sportswomen was needed. Actually, it’s been also known to Ancient Greek women doing athletic exercises and much reminded modern bikinis.

Cute one piece swimsuits revealed their elegance in the 1930s: sleeves disappeared, the back and sides were left naked. The fashion turned into a true craze, every girl wanted to have one. Also, they are real prototypes of what we see in shops. And nowadays, a variety of sexy one piece swimsuits are offered, with folds, cuts and zippers casting a spell on men, bows attracting attention and eye-catching colour palettes.
