At first everything was fine, until, while Pandora does not curiosity prompted her to lift the lid of the box, thrown vengeful gods. Across the earth, spread of disease, disasters and numerous defects human. And a thousand times right was Gleb Zheglov, claiming that the overwhelming, terrible, grave and vile of them are: Cunning, Greed, Betrayal! Currently, they are becoming more subtle, hidden forms and it will last a very long time, as long as mankind does not change qualitatively, and begins to think, make decisions, act, and live good lives!
The author, fully manual 3D painting executed in mixed media on canvas on cardboard with the application of traditional art and modern materials of wide application.
The whole composition is imbued with the symbolism, philosophy, drama and creativity. On the background of a surreal desert landscape is depicted floating in space ties (pricey!) is the legions of "gods" of various levels, ranks and countries. They're preoccupied about the aspirations of their peoples. Many of them we (almost every day) see and hear on television... They talk a lot, and I must say that their speech is kind, smart and correct, but...reality is becoming more and more rude, cruel, degrading and unpredictable.
The foreground of the picture is three-dimensional elements: The nose is surrounded by five mysterious eyes represents Cunning; deformed Mouth full of money - Greed; Head, bound with a rope and hiding their eyes under the veil is a Betrayal. Rope and 30 actually a one-bit coins, an allusion to the betrayal of Judas.
Cunning, Greed and Treachery surround the outdoor box of Hope: an egg (real, filled with silicone), prompting: " Life goes on!" Next to him was an exact copy of a revolver "Bulldog" of the famous Sherlock Holmes, to remind people that every Vice and crime, sooner or later, directly or indirectly, will be punished.
Noteworthy two small conditional figures, standing on the beach, holding hands... I'm happy for them, passed through the lifeless desert, littered with traps with different baits (cheese - deception; Apple - discord, hypocrisy; melon - misfortune; cabbage - greed, disease, poverty and stagnation; lemon - greed, betrayal, loss; pepper - anger, aggression, danger). Still, I hope and believe that there will be other times, other people will come, the true leaders, able to lead their people not drawn to the sun, is able, because of his great spirit, to eliminate any antagonism of earth civilization!
