One of the most important things about these children's mittens refers to high (8 cm) ribbing. Such ribbing helps the mittens to cover your wrist from cold winds, snow etc. If there is no need to have such a high ribbing, it can be folded back as much as one needs.
The idea of creating this pattern supposes dozens of its variants. Not less item's colour-range is achieved by having yarn of different colors and tints. Consequently, these mittens have a chance to be individual. All patterns I design myself. One more advantage of such pattern's knitting: there are two threads while knitting the pattern - the first one creates the pattern, the second thread is pulled out by the back side of the item that creates a double-cloth effect as a result. This helps the mittens to keep more warmth.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
