Description
A beautiful box made of Curly Ash - a very rare Russian tree specie. Inlaid in the technique of the Certosia mosaic - the pattern of the mosaic consists of half-millimeter squares of cedar and linden, laid on sides and edges. In bright illumination, the wood beautifully shimmers due to the wavy structure of the wood fiber arrangement, while retaining it's opacity. The handle is brass. Legs are made of mahogany. Covered with oil, and the mosaic - varnished. The side walls are glued together in a finger joint. On the top cover - large inserts of sugar palm, paduk, Karelian birch, rosewood, edging - black ebony. Variants with different combination of wood are possible. Capacious, pass by inheritance.
