Dere is Marie and Antoine tty (fr. Hameau de la Reine — literally "queen's farm"), another name for the Queen's Hamlet is a group of buildings in the Park of Versailles, in the department of Yvelines, France. Located near the Little Trianon Palace, this village was built by order of Queen Marie Antoinette during the winter of 1782–1783. Here, Louis XVI's wife wanted to create a special corner where she could hide from the strict court ceremonies and find herself in the atmosphere of real rural life.. The queen was inspired to create a village by the writings of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, where he praised the joys of living in nature, calling rural pastorals a "little paradise". Not only peasant houses were built here, but also a real farm was organized.
