HANDMADE stamps for leather and wood

The HANDMADE stamps are made of brass with a thickness of 12 mm and an engraving depth of 3 mm,
on the reverse side there is a hole with a thread on the M10 into which you can screw a pen or soldering iron.



Die handles are made of beech wood with a total length of 26 cm, the advantage of a long handle is that it does not burn when working.


Soldering irons are used with a power of 150 watts and with a temperature controller in order to adjust the temperature for different materials. The maximum size of the die for the soldering iron is 60/60 mm.



The stamp can be stamped not only on hot but also on cold, it is enough to unscrew the stamp and press it against the skin through a press or clamp.


The principle of operation

A rubber or cardboard backing is placed under the skin.



The cliche on the handle is heated over an open fire to 120-160 . Sufficient temperature can be determined by splashing water on the metal surface – moisture evaporates quickly with a hiss.



The cliche on the soldering iron is heated by the electrical network. The required temperature can be set on the thermostat.



The heated plate with a volumetric pattern is pressed against the skin for 5-10 seconds. A medium effort and a slight rocking of the cliche in different directions is enough.
