The order history is interesting !
Last fall, in the midst of mobilization, I received an order for this pendant. A man, a regular customer of mine, and this time he turned to me in order to create a gift for his wife on their wedding anniversary. Exactly 17 Irises symbolize 17 years of married life. It was this number of colors that had to be depicted on the pendant, and on the reverse side, in tandem with Yin Yang, the zodiac signs of Leo and Sagittarius should be placed. I didn't want to draw just a whole bouquet of irises on a stone, so I came up with such a compositional solution, where the two main large Irises represent the couple's two children, and all the other irises are turned into happy events of married life. The gift turned out to be very personal, memorable. A real family heirloom.


Features of the technique:
The painting is made on a collectible slice of Agate with oil paints in an old jewelry painting technique.
What is the value of the special jewelry equipment in which I work ? The painting is created multilayered, and between the layers is based a special jewelry varnish that separates the new painting layer from the old one. To achieve the level of detail that is presented in my works, I use at least 7 painstakingly rendered layers of painting in one decoration. Nominal, therefore, the deadline for completing your order is at least 1 month.
It turns out like this: 1st layer painting —>jewelry varnish—> 2nd layer painting—> jewelry varnish —> 3rd layer painting —> jewelry varnish —>—>4th layer painting —> jewelry varnish —> 5th layer painting —> jewelry varnish—> 6th layer painting —> jewelry varnish —> 7th layer painting —> jewelry varnish —> finish varnish = finish polishing of the lacquer coating.
Thus, the painting is securely fixed under the lacquer coating and will serve you for many years. The lacquer coating is NOT afraid of cold, heat, sudden temperature changes, salty sea water, tropical humidity. Tested on personal experience not once.
You don't have to be afraid to wear jewelry with my painting — every day! * if you are still worried that something will happen to the painting, then my jewelry is guaranteed for 6 months, for the restoration of the lacquer coating. For 10 years of active work, my clients have not had any problems with the lacquer coating.
Precautions: of course, a reliable lacquer coating does not cancel the recommendations treats the decoration carefully.
- It is undesirable for the decoration to fall on the tile if it is not additionally protected by a precious frame.
- The decoration can not be worn or stored with objects that scratch the coating, store it only in a special box.
