Icon "St. Sergius of Radonezh"

The icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh was created with the help of the author's technology. Handmade.
The basis of the icon is a wooden Board. The Board is glued to the linen canvas and applied gesso.
The image of the icon is applied to the levkas in a special way.On the reverse side of the Board is fastened with wooden planks "dowels" to avoid warping and cracking of the wooden base of the icon .
In the work on the icon, the technique of aging was widely used. Loss of the paint layer, cracking of leucas, aging of wood.

The size of the icon is 30*24 * 4 cm, under the order it is possible to manufacture the icon in a different size and taking into account the wishes of the customer.
