The Cat's Eye Tarot was created by veterinarian Debra Givin, who is well acquainted with cats and their behavior. The deck is based on the Waite system. White and black-and-white cats are shown with the suit of Bowls, Siamese cats are next to Swords in the pictures, along with Pentacles, cats with brown fur are shown, and on the Rods we see redheads.

The cards depict cats of different breeds in a natural, realistic manner.
