Painting "Mahakala Temple" Psychedelic Art

Visionary work "Mahakala Temple" in continuation of the theme "Collection of cosmic monks". As you know, if there are cosmic monks, then they must have at least a cosmic temple. Initially, I did not have a complete idea of this composition. However, the mystical ashram has already appeared once in the works "Architect" and "Alchemy", where the fusion of opposites, northern and southern forests, fire and water, night and day, Sun and Moon was also traced. , the passage of time and a moment frozen in eternity. The idea has been hatched since 2018 and at the end of the summer of 2021 I returned to it again. I have been drawing this work since August, during the time, and in the end I got a real STREAM OF TIME
Mahakala Waterfall is a cosmic flow of time through all forms of the World, washing infinity, nourishing the roots and refreshing the buds of the Universal Lotus. Mahakala is one of the names of the Creator in Sanskrit, which in one of the translations will sound like "Great Time". The source of this flow is the first sound of Creation - ॐ AUM. It falls directly on the Shivalingam (the image of the Creator, which has no forms). Cooled by the reflection of the Moon and warmed by the rays of the Sun, it flows through everything, filling the waters of the World Ocean. It is this World Ocean, at the bottom of which we will also find Sri Yantra - the universal form of all forms, guarded by intelligent snake-like beings - nagas.
In the center of the composition we see the cathedral of the adherents of the Great Stream of Time guarding the sacred wheel of samsara, from which the stream also falls directly into the center of Sri Yantra.
