A unique pair of author's toys:
----------- Little Red Riding Hood and Wolf -------------
The Little Red Riding Hood doll was created based on the ancient dolls of William Higgs, who worked in London at the end of the 17th century.
She does not have the famous Higgs moles, but wonderful fork-shaped hands with slotted fingers, straight graceful legs and slightly exaggerated proportions make it possible to read the quote.
The doll's height is about 14 cm, it is completely wooden (with the exception of textile forearms); wears a detachable cambric skirt with a silk ribbon.
The Little Red Riding Hood and the small handmade Wolf make the famous literary image recognizable, despite the fact that the character of the Wolf is very exaggerated. This is not a seasoned treacherous Wolf from a fairy tale, but cute and funny - either a page or a pet.
Both toys are hand carved from solid wood, all parts are painted, aged and coated with protective wax.
