Archangel Michael means "Who is God", and is the leader of the Heavenly Forces. He carries a fire saber, his mission is to defend all of God's laws, and defeat enemies. When Lucifer sinned in heaven, the order of the heavenly forces was broken, and angels began to fall from heaven, then Archangel Michael stood in the middle and said to them: " Nobody like God!". Since then, angels have stopped falling from heaven because they obeyed Archangel Michael and understood the sin of fallen angels.

Archangel Gabriel means "man-God", and is the archangel of good news, joy, whose mission was to convey to people all the divine secrets. He does not wear a fire saber, but a white lily of joy. He was sent by God to the Mother of God from Nazareth to inform the mystery of the birth of Christ. He was the first to utter the word Jesus. He called St.. Ivan the Forerunner. He informed the shepherds that Jesus was being born in Bethlehem. He was the first to sing the words "Glory to the heavenly God and peace on earth, benevolence between people". SV. Gabriel protects virgins, protects mothers, babies, fulfills all the requests of the Orthodox with the help of God. In the written sources that have come down to us, the name of the Archangel Gabriel appears less in beliefs and fairy tales than the Archangel Michael. It is as if he is in the shadow.
