This bug is the smallest of all the insects I've ever had to deal with :) (you can look at the rest of my insects in my blogs). Its size is only 1,5 cm. It is made by hand from titanium (wings), nickel silver (platform and head), dichroic* glass or natural stones and cubic zirconia. The bug consists of thirty-one parts, one way or another connected to each other (soldering, riveting, etc.). Millimeter needle, length 6-7 mm; clasp-clip - " butterfly".
* Dichroic glass is a glass that contains micro-layers of rare-earth metal oxides and reflects light like a hologram.. Another feature of this glass is the ability to catch and reflect light even in poor light conditions.
size: 1,5 cm.
