Kolovrat — Yarilo Ring

A powerful ring made of 925 sterling silver combined two Slavic symbols, the sign of Kolovrat and the sun or Yarila.
Kolovrat is a symbol that had a sacred meaning among our ancestors. It is often called the main symbol in the mythology of the ancient Slavs. And this is not surprising, because Kolovrat represented the sun, as well as the constant change of day and night. Our ancestors traced this cyclical pattern throughout: darkness always ended with dawn, and life always ended with death. Therefore, we are talking not only about the solar image, but also about the projection of the Universe.

Yarilo-God of the Spring sun, son of Veles and Diva-Dodola. From Veles, Yarilo received the power and skill of werewolves, so he became the patron of wolves, the Wolf shepherd. From his mother, he received attractiveness and a cheerful character, because Yarilo is revered as the God of Passion. Yarilo is considered the god of the spring sun, giving warmth, light and joy to people.
