The amulet of the same name is a continuation of all this, and was used in the old days as a protective pattern that was embroidered on women's clothing. The Makoshi amulet is also aimed at strengthening the marital bond between a man and a woman, making their family stronger and more loving.
The image of the Makoshi amulet was often embroidered on the clothes of little girls, which, according to the belief of our ancestors, served as a strong protection for the child. Young girls who had not yet married wore the Makoshi amulet in the hope that the goddess would give them her blessing and soon bring matchmakers to their home. For married women the makoshi amulet was a faithful assistant in many matters. This amulet helped during childbirth, gave the health of the mother and her child.
