Among the natural corundums there are stones of a wide variety of shades, from colorless to black and even pink and red. Red and pink corundums with a noticeable admixture of chromium are attributed to rubies, but if there is no chromium, it means that they are sapphires, regardless of color.
In this case, rare yellow sapphire corundums of natural origin are presented.
Almost all samples are full-fledged crystals with all facets, with their inherent hexagonal crystallography (there are almost no shapeless fragments)
