Could the American artist Mary Cassett have thought that her painting "Tea Party" (1880), which depicts two decent ladies drinking tea, would find a second life after more than a century in an artistic meme? And all thanks to some jokers who added a plate of cookies and a Cake to the classic picture. Korzyk (or "Cookie Monster" in the original English version) is a puppet character from the famous TV show Sesame Street. Blue fur, bulging eyes, the habit of talking about yourself in the third person, increased appetite and unreal love for the liver – such a miracle would cause a cultural shock to all the guests gathered at a secular tea party. The funny photojab was accompanied by a text of humorous content: " When you're trying to have a classic tea party, but one of your friends, to be honest, behaves like a weirdo".
The painting is painted with oil paints, framed in a classic baguette frame.
