Pushin was created in 2010 by artist Claire Belton and her partner Andrew Duff. Claire is a children's illustrator and designer, a graduate of the University of Connecticut. And Pushin is a well-fed cat of the "domestic shorthair" breed, "gray tabby" color, with short paws and a striped tail. Pushin loves baking, holidays and lying around. In his first life, the cat Pushin was a comic book character for children. In 2011, Claire made a page for Pushin on the diary server. A few weeks later, Pushin had ten thousand fans as friends.
