Amazing preservation for an item that is almost 200 years old.
The Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin was founded in 1761 by entrepreneur John Ernst Gotzkowsky. Two years later, King Frederick of Prussia bought it and the factory became Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur. It is clear that for the royals, and here a service was made for Catherine II, everything was the best. Almost all the years of its existence, the factory has held this highest bar. KPM porcelain is considered one of the best in the world.
A large creamer, aka a small jug, elegantly shaped with hand-painted. The artist chose not simple flowers to decorate snow-white porcelain. On one side are lupines, on the second honeysuckle caprifol. Not corny, agree.
Excellent condition. Marking 1820-1830.
