Through the darkness, dissolved in the coolness of the velvet night, a spot of light moves like a ghost or reflected moonlight on the water. It sneaks through the quietening city, hiding in the glare of bright city lights.
It is the Great Guardian Ivar who carries his Night Watch. There is a sparkle of amber in his charming eyes, and flames dance on his skin. He reigns in the night, touching the souls of people with velvet soft paws, soothing and lulling.
And while the night is serene, its defender is also calm.
But once there is danger, everything changes.
