Gift quilted textile book "The Town in the snuffbox" based on the work of Vladimir Odoevsky. The main character of the fairy tale, the boy Misha, makes an exciting journey into the magical and exciting world of the music box, where he meets many interesting characters and gets acquainted with the basics of mechanics.
The illustrations in the book are drawn in the "batik" technique on natural silk (satin) resistant to moisture and fading with German dyes for fabric and quilted with cotton filler. The pages with the text are made on polyester fabric. The text is printed by sublimation printing, the drawing around the text is made in the technique of "batik". The fabric is also quilted with cotton filler. The book consists of 14 textile pages (7 sheets). All pages are stitched together. The spine of the book is covered with quilted silk.
Due to the diverse techniques of artistic stitching on the pages, many different three-dimensional textures have turned out, which attract not only visual, but also tactile perception of the child.
You can read a book, play with it, take it to bed and even sleep on it without fear of crumpling or tearing it. Also, in addition to its main function - to help entice the child into the magical world of reading, the book can also become the highlight of your interior.
