Aventurine is a stone as famous and widespread as it is legendary. He holds the palm in terms of the number of rumors and legends associated with him, which are ambiguous in the same way as this mineral itself is ambiguous.. It owes its very name to a blind chance...
"Once upon a time, a not very famous Italian glassblower and stonecutter was looking for suitable materials to fulfill an extremely expensive order from one of the rich nobles. The master was wandering around the cave and accidentally met a snake. He, of course, got scared and, not knowing what to do, began to run wherever he looked. A few meters later, blinded by fear, the glassblower stumbled upon a large stone, fell and hit his head. When he woke up, the snake was not there, but there was a gem that made him stop. The stone shimmered and sparkled, as if flirting with the master, so I had to take a gift of fate home to fulfill the order. And as a result, the mineral was named "accidentally", which means adventure in Italian. And in Russian, the gem began to be called aventurine."
Aventurine was popular in ancient Egypt and China, where the stone belonged to a group of very expensive and rare minerals. In the land of the rising sun, even the imperial seal was made of aventurine, so that the ruler's dynasty flourished, was fertile for heirs and benefited people.
