Everybody knows the characters of Milne's book about Winnie the Pooh since childhood. Like many other heroes, the character is associated with a soft toy that was given to the writer's son, Christopher Robin, in early childhood. The donkey's neck broke and, according to Milne himself, "it gave him a sad look," which most likely influenced the character of the hero.
Eeyore the donkey is unhurried, moderately thoughtful, very reasonable and perhaps the only hero of the book who brings a touch of pessimism into the cheerful atmosphere of the toy world.
A small picture in format submits the character and the mood of the donkey, his slowness, melancholy, thoughtfulness. But, despite this, it submits sincerity.
