The moonstone is also mentioned in various sources and under a different name - adular (its crystals are fragile), which is given to the mineral by the name of Mount Adula, located in Switzerland, where for the first time an irrizing blue light crystal was found. The color of the moonstone can be not only blue, but also purple, milky-white. There are stones with the effect of the so-called "cat's eye" or a star-shaped pattern, but these are rare specimens. Frosted transparent "moon stones" found on sale - the usual imitation of glass.

How to keep
Wood products are durable enough, if not exposed to extreme loads. Harmful factors, basically, can be divided into three groups:
1. strong mechanical effect
2. bright sunshine and
3. chemical effect on wood coating.
We try not to drop decorations on the floor, especially on tiles, concrete, asphalt. On impact, chipping of thin elements of the thread, dents of wood, damage to the lacquer coating, peeling of the overlaid elements, etc. are likely.
Wooden decorations should also be protected from sharp fluctuations of atmospheric humidity in order to avoid cracking of wood, and do not store them near the radiator.
Some types of wood coatings withstand moderate one-time wetting in water. But when washing hands, any wooden rings need to be removed.
Contact with water may make the jewelry cover fade.
