"From the depths of the ocean-The Oceanic Siren " - this picture opens a series of paintings dedicated to the scientific works of Dr. Spencer Black, who became famous at the end of the nineteenth century for innovative research in the treatment of genetic anomalies. The main work of Dr. Black's whole life was the "Manuscript of Disappeared Animals", a study of the least known species of the animal kingdom, which made a huge impression on me:-)
The picture was created as close as possible to Dr. Spencer Black's own sketches.

The base of the painting is a canvas on a stretcher(cotton). Materials-acrylic paints and varnish, relief paste. Only a palette knife and other improvised tools were used in the work, no stencils, no molds! The relief was applied day after day, millimeter by millimeter.
The colors of the picture are very saturated and nevertheless look quite antique, please take into account the glare and a slight distortion of the color scheme when shooting. The siren is voluminous, it was created in three stages.It is covered with varnish, so the volume in the pictures is not as visible as if you take the picture in your hands.

The picture will be a wonderful interior decoration not only for those who love the sea style, but also a talisman for people whose element according to the horoscope is water.

The frame is decorated with relief, a baguette is not required.
