The symbol of the Genus (lace)

Rod – God-Creator of the Slavic Pantheon, Creator of the Universe and all its laws. He stands above the worlds and the creatures that inhabit them.

Its symbol is a star with four rays, all the ends of which are rounded. This means that the symbol contains only creative energies. A curved shape means that the process is complete.

Turned in the direction of the Sun and the hour hands (posolon), this amulet symbolizes the outward-directed hard and active male power.

However, the Genus did not create the Universe alone, but together with the Rozhanits, female deities. Therefore, turned against the movement of the Sun and the hour hands (protivosolon), the symbol of the Genus becomes the embodiment of a pliable and contemplative female power directed inward.

Thus, the symbol of the Genus harmoniously combines both principles. This is a universal amulet that will suit both men and women.

Turned outwards with the "male" side, and towards the "female" carrier, it reflects other people's "male" influences and gives its owner softness and flexibility. Inverted on the contrary, reflects "female" influences and gives confidence and firmness.
