Flowers bring special emotions into our lives. They are able to decorate any home, cheer up even on a gloomy day, give joy and mood in any situation!
In this series, I wanted to reflect on the colors that surround us around, not pretentious, but immensely charming. I wanted to emphasize the combination of something simple, accessible, even catchy and delicate, and elegant, so I chose collage and encaustic. In the collage, unnecessary pieces of paper and fabrics got their new life, and encaustics allowed us to create an airy flair that emphasizes the amazing elusive beauty of flowers.

In modern art, this technique exists in various directions, using wax paints and medium, you can create collages, paintings, decorative panels, postcards, and of course work in mixed techniques.
For me encaustic has become an organic continuation of my work in the direction of mixed media.
The work "Lupines" is included in the series " Country flowers".

How to keep
All works are performed using professional materials of high quality.
In order for the product to please you for many years, I recommend:
- works in the encaustic technique can eventually become matte, in order to restore their Shine, they can be polished with a non-lint cloth, suede or palm;
- the melting point of the wax medium is more than 85 degrees, so the work is not afraid of normal temperatures, even heat;
- do not place with heating devices or near a fire;
- to avoid mechanical damage;
- do not use household chemicals to clean the surface;
- wipe the panel with a dry or wet cloth;
- avoid contact with direct sunlight;
