Icon of the Mother of God " Healer"

The wooden icon with the ark "Our Lady the Healer" was created in our workshop with the help of the author's technology. All work on the creation of an icon executed by the master manually.
The icon - natural wood serving Board with frame. Board glued on linen canvas to avoid image cracking in the future. On the canvas we apply the gesso and the very image of the icon.
A special technology developed in our workshop allows you to make icon rich, bright colors. On the reverse side of the icon is reinforced with dowels.
The icon is of medium size 21* 31cm, but it is possible to make an icon in a different size and taking into account the wishes of the customer..

About the icon: The holy image of the Most Holy Theotokos, called "The Healer", is one of the oldest icons of the Mother of God and dates back to the time of Saint Nina, Equal to the Apostles, the Enlightener of Georgia (4th century). This icon was located in the Tsilkan temple in the area of Kartalinia.
