The first image of Divinity was the image of the Great Mother. This is confirmed by archaeological excavations from India to the Mediterranean. Thousands of figures depicting the Mother Goddess from 40,000 BC have been found on a vast territory stretching from Western Europe to Siberia. These figures have similarities, showing that we are not talking about simple images of women, but the symbols of the Mother Goddess, giving life and nourishing the universe.
This figure is also a candle holder. The flame of a candle is located inside, in the loving hands of Great Mother, like the fire of a new life in the mother’s womb.
Completely handmade: from a piece of clay to the finished product. Hand sculpting, glazing and two high-temperature firing. With love.
