Wood is a living material, and requires careful handling. At the same time, with proper handling, wood products will serve you for many years. My main recommendation is to store in conditions of natural humidity, i.e. not on the windowsill above the battery, not in the bathroom. Frequent question: what will happen if you get caught in the rain/snow? Nothing will happen:) The wood is treated with professional high-quality compositions (paints, impregnations, oils, lacquers-depends on the decorative tasks) and nothing will happen to it from the ingress of a small amount of water. Dry in natural conditions, again, not on the battery!) Swimming in wooden ornaments is still not worth it, although they will withstand a certain number of swims:)
