The author's painting "In the old town" is painted in oil .
Like an old photo..like a window into someone's childhood.. When the snow creaked so invitingly under my feet, when the snowflakes shimmered from the sun's rays with all their facets, when I wanted to try everything in the cold, especially to lick the iron crossbar in the cold tram and breathe on the frosty window and wait for the thawed window to look through it at the houses, people running past... Old town... When movie theater posters were drawn by artists, etc., etc......everyone has their own old town..
