Pictures: Oil study " Sun and shadows in winter"

The author's sketch is painted with oil paints, 100% cotton canvas on a pine stretcher, gallery stretch (the end sides are all painted)
The landscape was created from nature (plein air) in a 13-degree frost in one of the parks in Moscow in February 2021.

Bright sun and blue shadows that only come at the end of winter.
The trees suddenly turn pinkish-coral, they gather their juices in anticipation of spring, and this always fills us with joy and optimism.
That's exactly the kind of feeling I wanted to convey in this plein-air etude.
