While waiting for the bus, looking around the neighborhood with some longing, suddenly, despite the absence of palm trees, cypresses, and even the sun, I felt a kind of timid charm in the muted shades of a cloudy winter day and the sparse landscape of panel buildings.
And now I have a small series of "On the district" in my work". This is the view from the stop " Bogdanov Street, 24".

How to keep

Oil paints dry for a long time. The oil painting 1-2 years ago, in need of light and air. To place a picture under glass, not under glass creates the greenhouse effect and the paint may flake off. A year after creating the picture, if desired, can be coated with a special varnish.
From direct sunlight the paint can darken, and some pigments fade. In a very dark place can yellow oil in the paint layer. It is better to place a picture under diffused fluorescent light or energy saving lamp.
Do not place the painting near heating appliances and air conditioners in order to avoid the appearance of microcracks.
To remove dust picture can be wiped with a soft dry cloth. If there are no cracks in the paint layer, can be cleaned with a well wrung out damp cloth. Detergents cannot be used.
