oil painting on canvas of pomegranates in a frame
The price is for a picture on a primed canvas on cardboard in a designer frame, decorated by me in the style of" shabby chic " specifically for this picture.
The picture is fully decorated for the buyer, i.e., the frame is attached to the picture, the picture is covered with a non-toxic acrylic varnish, the "ears" for the cord are screwed to the frame, so the picture can be immediately hung on the wall or given as a gift. The fasteners can be viewed in the last photo.
the picture was written with two artistic materials: with acrylic as a sub-paint and then with oil.
It is very interesting that pomegranate in the Middle Ages was called a seed apple, and in Ancient Rome-a grainy apple. Moreover, in some countries, it is believed that it was the pomegranate that Eve first seduced herself, and then treated Adam to it in Paradise.
Also in the Middle Ages garnet became a symbol of the golden Age of Granada. It was sung since the time of the Old Testament king Solomon, and maybe even earlier, In short, what can I say, it is a pomegranate.
The frame in this style is very suitable for small paintings written in bright, juicy colors. The frame, as I have already pointed out above, is decorated in the style of shabby chic (shabby-worn, shabby) - an interior style that appeared in the 1980s. The author of the style is Rachel Asheville. Its main features are vintage, pastel (white-pink, cream, vanilla, beige, etc.) colors and lace (small decorative elements). The frame successfully, in my opinion, sets off some vintage of the picture itself, despite the juicy red, blue, ochre colors of the picture with pomegranates. Three-dimensional elements, patinas were used on the frame, as well as craquelure (a grid of small cracks) was used in places in the decor). The finishing coating of the frame is not only varnish, but also wax.
Please note that the color rendering on different gadgets and monitors of laptops and computers is different!
