The vase was produced at the factories of the Reich of Solomon (Reich Solomon).
The first factory founded in 1813, father S. Reich Isaac Reich, but the products of the factory could not compete and the quality of the manufactured products was weak. In 1838, the reins took in their hands the son of Isaac Solomon Reich. He bought several plants and became in the East of Bohemia is almost a monopolist in production as an art and technical glass. In 1839 he created the company "S. REICH and CO." The business flourished and by the mid19th century products of the factory has won the market of Europe and America, opened representative offices in Berlin, Vienna and Leipzig.
Factory, the company produced a huge range of glass products - chandeliers, crystal, art glass, pressed glass, mirrors, pharmacy utensils, and much more.
Successful development of the company was suspended unstable political situation in Europe and in 1936, the factories were closed and part of the family members of the Reich emigrated to America. But unfortunately, many members of the extended family of the Reich, died in concentration camps during the second world war.
Products of the factory are in all museums of the world where there is an exhibition of glass.

The vase presented to you is made of multi-layered three-layer glass, the top layer is made of ruby glass, then amber (yellow) glass and colorless. Vase is made in the technique of etching and sandblasting glass. Collector's item.
The condition is very good, but there is a dent in the ruby layer, it is not a crack and not a chip just when stretching the ruby glass, not an even layer was formed ( see photo 6), so the price is low compared to the real cost of this vase.
