Lacing game for kids made of felt: Christmas tree

We study geometric shapes and learn how to attach them to the Christmas tree with a cord.

Lacing needs to be taught. Be sure.

1. Start with the simplest — how to get the tip of the lace into the hole.

As soon as the child learns to do this, give the opportunity to randomly lace the Christmas tree, without toys.

2. Teach how to lace in pairs so that the lace connects the two grommets and forms a horizontal stitch. Accompany the process with the words "UP and DOWN" so that the baby understands in which direction the movement is taking place. Take your time and don't rush the baby!

3. Try to lace up your toys. Learn how to combine the holes on the toy with the holes on the Christmas tree. Hold the item firmly and skip the lace. Help your baby at first.

4. If you feel that some stage of lacing does not work, stop at the easier option. all the time!
