For knitting this scarf black 100% Tuvinian dog underfur with addition of goat underfur was used. This combination of natural materials gives soft, fluffy and elastic yarn that fits perfectly to such accessories as scarf where softness is important. The underfur is spinned with sewing reinforced thread and rubbered into 2 threads.
The main function of the scarf is to keep good fitting for neck and breast and to cover them from wind and cold. Pretty long length (140 cm) provides good keeping in warmth for neck and breast. A special double-sided knitting, called 'slip stitch ribbing', makes the snood loose-fitting and free-draping on the neck. One of the most important things for such accessories is the yarn which they are knitted with. In this particular case the yarn is specially selected soft and without any tickling as neck is considered to be a place with high sensitivity. Classical black color of the snood will fit to any type of overclothes and be universal both for men and women.
The work doesn't have any signs of dog wool smell, as it has two stages of washing: firstly the yarn itself is washed, then the finished work goes washing. I don't use cutted wool, only underfur.
